The lightly distressed full size bedframe is hand-constructed and hand-carved from alder wood and hand-finished with Woodland's "Whispering Birch" paint.
This design is named the Madeline Bed 502 and is crafted by Woodland Furniture, the furniture company established in 1996 by Lynn and Pat Harker. Pat is the owner of the firm Harker Design.
Woodland Furniture's high-quality pieces are bench-made in the U.S.A. in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Woodland focuses on the craft and artistry of custom designs and finishes, crafting heirloom quality pieces made-to-order.
Bedframe pieces consist of one headboard; carved with two birds at the top, an option when ordering; one footboard, one center support, and five support boards.
There will be approximately one-inch allowance for bedding on all sides in between the box-springs and the rails.
The bed drop is nine-inches from the bottom of the box springs to the floor.
The headboard and footboard are topped with molded bonnets.
The headboard features two hand-carved doves, one at each side of the curved center. The shaped stiles are accented with a single rondel on each. The center of the headboard features an architectural carved arch over a molded oval.
The curved-top footboard is framed by two turned post stiles.
The rails are plain and finished to match the rest of the bedframe.
The support boards are of plain alder wood.
